Getting About on the Coffs Coast

Thursday 09 Jul 2020

With many families here on the Coffs Coast enjoying the school holidays with their children, it is very pleasing that museums, galleries and libraries are now open. Pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants are all open too, with the appropriate social distancing rules still applying. There is no shortage of activities here in Coffs, with our beautiful beaches, walks and cycle tracks all a no-brainer for families and visitors. To complete the list, a couple of local gallery attractions are noted below, together with a fun biking offer. Rain or shine, there is no excuse to get out and about these school holidays!

Doin’ It With The Kids at the National Cartoon Gallery – 8 July to 16 August

The Butterfly House – a sub tropical environment where you are surrounded by myriads of butterflies (my 4 year old grandson was enthralled by the butterflies last weekend!)

Bike Fun Adventures – Montem Bike Tours – from 6-16 July (inspires kids to be out and about on bikes and gives structured bike coaching – also includes morning tea!).
